Athletes

Sam Vinson

Ft. Thomas native Sam Vinson just finished his sophomore year at NKU.  During that time, Sam won many awards – including Horizon League Freshman of the Year, Horizon League first team All Defense, and Horizon League third team.

Khamari Mitchell-Steen

Khamari is a rising star for the NKU Women’s Basketball team.  A junior, Khamari’s athleticism often has her guarding the other team’s most dominant scorer and her offense is defined by her slashing style to the hoop.

Marques Warrick

Lexington native Marques Warrick, or Quez, recently finished his junior year at NKU. During his time as a Norse, Marques has accumulated many honors – including 3x All-Horizon League, 2x All-Horizon League Tournament, Horizon League Freshman of the Year, and Horizon League Tournament MVP.  All that and Quez still has two years of eligibility remaining.

Kailee Davis

Kailee Davis, or KD, hails from Detroit, Michigan, and just finished her sophomore year with All-Horizon League honors.

KD is known for her ball handling and outside shooting and expects to be one of the leaders of the Norse for the next two years.

Trey Robinson

Trey hails from across the river in Hamilton, Ohio.  An athletically gifted senior, he has two years of eligibility remaining.

During the ’22 – ’23 season, Trey established himself as a key player for the Norse with his athleticism, defense, and key buckets. We are all expecting big things from Trey as we move into next season and beyond.

Kennedy Igo

Kennedy Igo is one of the Norse’s key outside shooters.  Her playing time increased throughout the ’22 – ’23 season to become a key cog in the Norse’s success.

Allison Basye

Allison came to NKU after a much heralded High School career at Huntington High School, where she was also a star in volleyball, track, and softball.  Her athleticism and size distinguish her and will lead to a successful tenure with the Norse.
