I’ve been involved with multiple NIL activities with NKU Basketball players – both men and women – and have been thrilled with the character of the athletes and the professional way in which they represented the University and themselves.

The real magic of NKU student-athletes is in the connectedness you feel with them.  You can certainly get to know them on a personal level, if, indeed, you take the time to get involved.  Once you know them, you realize these young men and women are not simply talented Division 1 athletes, but they are focused on their education from this great institution and preparing themselves well for their specific careers that lie ahead.

I am currently mentoring a remarkable young lady on the NKU golf team who recently shared with me that she had no idea she’d fall in love with the Highland Heights campus and the people at the depth and breadth she now treasures.
